For the selective isolation of Group A Strep only (S. pyogenes) and exhibits beta hemolysis
Inhibits other Streps, Gram negative bacteria, and normal respiratory flora
Not to be used for group B strep or pneumococcus
Contains 5% sheep blood from a veterinary supervised, controlled herd of donor animals
Blood is guaranteed to be from healthy antibiotic-free animals
Polystyrene Petri plates feature raised rings for stacking ability and prevents sliding
