Made with a special one-way valve and float design that regulates how much fluid can be sipped through the straw at one time. When the user sucks on the straw, fluid flows through the valve and into the chamber. When the fluid travels, the float rises and then cuts off the supply, allowing roughly one teaspoon of liquid per sip.
Designed to easily control fluid intake for patients with dysphagia
Excellent for both regular and thickened liquids including water, smoothies, and juice
Aids in preventing aspiration and oral motor control of liquid and can manually be control by squeezing the straw
Made to fit in a variety of drink containers including cups and bottles and is small enough to be taken anywhere
Features a one-way valve and float design that allows one teaspoon of liquid per drink
