It has a semi-rigid shell that positions the ankle/foot at 5° of dorsiflexion providing a gentle stretch of the plantar fasica and the Achilles tendon. The OrthoPro Passive Night Splint includes a foam wedge that is inserted into the device to provide an additional 5°of gentle stretch.
