Comfort Release® Transparent Dressings with BIOPAD™ Collagen Pads and Alcohol Prep Pads Equine collagen primary wound dressings can accelerate the closure of hard-to-heal wounds. These cuttable, flexible collagen pads are usable on infected wounds and compatible with topicals. Easy-to-apply transparent dressings offer greater wound visibility for easier monitoring and care. The transparent window is made of a thin sheet of polyurethane material that is highly breathable with a low level of adhesion and is waterproof for better wound healing and skin health. The border is a non-woven film with acrylic adhesive for strong skin bonding and alcohol-triggered painless release to eliminate skin injuries when properly removed.  

Apply the collagen pad directly over the wound, covering the wound bed, and secure with a transparent dressing. For dry wounds, hydrate the collagen pad to initiate the gelling process. Collagen pads are biodegradable and do not need to be removed at each dressing change. Kits include dressings and collagen pads and are available with or without Alcohol Prep Pads for removal. Alcohol Prep Pads also sold separately.
