The FootFlexor Ankle Foot Orthosis is the ultimate mobility solution for people with foot drop. This dynamic aid is excellent for those who need dorsal flexion support. The FootFlexor provides a completely adjustable and customized fit. When worn properly, this orthosis helps improve walking and reduces the risk of falls. Each orthosis measures 7” x 14.5” in size, and is made of compression molded foam.
The durable design is made to be worn before, during, and after physical and daily activities. The FootFlexor is snug for comfort and is made of neoprene. This orthosis includes a FootFlexor Wrap, Tension Cord, Eyelet Clips, and instructions. Weighing only .25 lbs., the FootFlexor is lightweight and is comfortable throughout the entire day. When using tall lace up shoes or boots place the FootFlexor around the outside.
The FootFlexor is made to provide a fully adjustable fit. Before you apply the FootFlexor you will want to attach the eyelet clips into the eyelets furthest down on the shoes. To apply center the FootFlexor directly above the heel of the shoe with the small tab oriented on the top right side of the brace. Next, wrap the left flap around the front of the leg and snugly close the top right tab onto the left flap. Finally, close the lower right tab around the lower part of the left flap. To add tension grab the tension cord ends and move to the front of the shoe for hooking up. When you hook the tension cords to the eyelets, crossing the tension cords is recommended. Use enough tensions to keep your toe up.
