Simply twist the bottom of the container and the required amount of compound is expelled from the container top.
When the containers are ready to be dispensed, the twist bottoms are snapped shut for permanent closure. The containers are now tamper-resistant and patients cannot contaminate their own ointment.
The dispensing ends of the containers are covered with threaded lids to keep the compound free from oxidation and contamination; therefore providing hygienic use.
