The ASO Flex-Hinge combines the proven technology of the ASO's strapping system with a built-in articulated plastic shell for superior ankle stabilization
The upper portion of the internal shell is incorporated into the eyelet lace closure to create an inner cuff around the tibia and fibula which resists separation of the tibia and fibula to help treat syndesmosis ankle sprains
The internal shell with hinge is built into ballistic nylon boot and flexes to conform to the anatomy of the ankle
The figure-8 straps and elastic cuff work in conjuction with the internal plastic shell to capture the calcaneus and resist inversion or eversion motion
Measure the circumference from the top of the ankle to around the heel
